Be Transparent – People should have the freedom and safety to be who they really are in the workplace and should never be judged or stereotyped for their lifestyles, beliefs, background, or personal preferences. We believe these should be admired and appreciated as it gives us a new perspective about the people we spend nearly every day with. We believe the best experiences are when people are open, honest and transparent about their wants, needs and desires as well as their fears, concerns and apprehensions. We believe time is our most scarce resource and we don’t want to waste it trying to validate someone’s claim. Transparency builds trust and trust builds loyalty.
Take Ownership – When things go wrong it is easier to look out the window and find blame with others than to stare yourself in the mirror and ask what you could have done to of made the situation better. We must recognize when you point with your finger there are three other fingers pointing back at you. So next time things don’t go like you plan point with your thumb. It is much easier to change yourself than to create change in others.
Learn to Earn – Our mistakes are our biggest opportunity to grow and development. They remind us that what makes us perfect is that we recognize we will never be perfect. If we are not making mistakes then we are not getting outside our comfort zones and pushing to make a meaningful difference. The best way to development is to experience a mistake as we have discovered how to overcome an obstacle that our competitors must learn if they choose to reach the limits of customer experience we are aiming for.
Celebrate Small Successes – Why wait for a big success to happen when we know the reason these occur are a result of many small successes we achieve every day. We believe you should not have to wait to recognize someone for doing the little things each day and that is why we find just about any reason to celebrate regardless how small.
