winning essay: coach ramirez was my high school soccer coach all four years at hebron. he was also my spanish teacher. he taught me how to be a leader and stand up for myself through rough times. ramirez also taught me how to face challenges before heading off to college. coach helped guide me to where i am today playing division one college soccer the dream i have always had. he always believed in me when i doubted myself. ramirez always pushed me in soccer and never let me down short in any circumstances. coach challenged me to be assertive being a captain i was my junior and senior year. even though we had our differences throughout my four years he believed in me to lead my team in leadership on and off the field. coach ramirez has made a huge impact in my life from the first time i met him after a 7th grade middle school soccer game he is still a good friend i will always remember. |
